Gift baskets for Christmas can be

Christmas is a wonderful and joyous time of year. One of the ways in which our love and appreciation for friends and loved ones of the show is the construction or purchase of their gifts. It 'the perfect opportunity for a gift basket made at home.

Start with a wicker basket and spray-painted red or green. If you prefer, you can paint with gold and silver. Line with a Christmas napkin or cloth. You can also use shredded paper or colored tissue paper.

Melt the chocolate inMicrowave.

Dip plastic spoons until generously coated with chocolate.

Put cool on parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Roll in crushed candy canes.

Chocolate covered pretzels:

Dip one end of a large pretzel stick in melted chocolate.

Roll in either mini M & Ms, colored sprinkles, chopped nuts or chopped candy cane.

Leave by the end pulled down harden into a glass.

Wrap in cellophane.
